Jane(Katherine Heigle) never says no to her friends so she's been a bridesmaid 27 times and selflessly plans friends' weddings.
And she's in love with her boss, George(Edward Burns), nurturing dreams of a lovely, romantic wedding of her own.
She meets Kevin(James Marsden), a cynical writer who finds her attractive, and wants to write an article about her bridesmaid stories.
That same week her flirtatious younger sister Tess(Malin Akerman) comes to Jane's town. 
Jane silently watches George fall for Tess, a manipulative pretender.
Worse, Jane may be called upon to plan their wedding...

The simple and naive just-graduated in journalism Andrea Sachs(Anne Hathaway) is hired to work as the second assistant of the powerful and sophisticated boss, Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep).
She was the ruthless and merciless executive of the Runway fashion magazine in New York.
Andrea dreams to become a journalist and faces the opportunity as a temporary professional challenge.
The first assistant Emily(Emily Blunt) advices Andrea about the behavior and preferences of their cluel boss, and the stylist Nigel(Stanley Tucci) helps Andrea to dress more adequately for the environment.
She changed herself fashionable and elegant woman and her pursuit went well.
However the enormously hard works affect her private life increasingly and the relationship between her boyfriend Nate (Adrian Grenier), her father and her friends.
