I'm from Kyotango city, the north of Kyoto.
You may think that Kyoto has no sea, BUT WE HAVE!!
My home town, Kyotango city, is by the sea, and because of this, we have a lot of fresh seafood!!

This is a crab, which is especially called "Taizagani".
This crab is famous for the taste and quality of the highest level.
Kyotango city has a beautiful sea.
This "kotobikihama" is one of the most famous beaches in the city.
This beach is famous for "Nakisuna", which means a quartz sand that produces a squeaking sand when stepped on.

This is called "Barazushi".
The difference between "Barazushi" in Tango and other places is whether it contains the powdered mackerel or not.
We eat this "Barazushi" in the festival.
This is another famous beach called "Yuuhigaura".
It is well known as the beautiful landscape when the sun sets.
It is also selected as one of Japan's top 100 setting suns.



This is called "Tateiwa".
This is one natural whinstone, and it is one kilometers in circumference.
